Matt is from Lakewood, Colorado where he attended Green Mountain High School. While there he played baseball and hockey. After graduating in 2012, he furthered his academic and baseball career at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado for two years. Matt then transferred to Concordia University in Seward Nebraska. At Concordia, Matt majored in Exercise Science while playing baseball. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree.
Before coming to Authentic Performance, Matt was an intern and Physiotherapy Associates in Littleton, Colorado. While there, he guided physical therapy patients through their daily exercises. After he completed the internship with Physiotherapy, he served as the summer intern at APC.
Matt has since been working with Colorado Academy serving the high school's after school conditioning class. At APC, he works with the Evolution hockey program, along with soccer, baseball, and football players ranging from high school to the professional level. He is also a member of the National High School Strength Coaches Association.
