Colin holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion - Performance Enhancement & Injury Prevention, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Psychology from California University of Pennsylvania. He is a 12-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he worked with conventional and Special Operation Forces in the joint and coalition realm. Colin has worked with operators who needed to be ready for multiple mission sets in different theatres.
He knows the physical demands that are required of all war fighters and the preparation that each individual needs to complete the toll of long deployments and training cycles. Between 2006 and 2014 he played a pivotal role in the physical development of the tactical athletes at 5th and 2d Air/Naval Gunfire Liaison Companies (ANGLICO) 9 combat deployments, completing 4 of his own.
Colin’s sport performance training experience includes athletes of all levels training single, multi-sport, and endurance athletes. He has trained athletes competing in basketball, football, volleyball (court and beach), soccer, hockey, lacrosse, and baseball. He holds certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Tactical Strength and Conditioning - Facilator (TSAC-F), through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and the National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE) as a Level 2 Certified Speed Specialist (CSS).
